Kelowna City FC - Inclusion and Diversity

At Kelowna City FC, we strive to make all of our activities accessible, barrier-free and inclusive for all athletes. We want our club to be a safe space for all participants and for all participants to feel valued and part of our community. 

As members of the soccer, sport and wider community, we want our participants to experience positive coaching, developmentally appropriate development, accessible programming as well as the knowledge that they are welcomed, cared about and looked after. 

All Kelowna City FC Staff and Volunteers will be trained in Inclusionary practices and made aware of the Kelowna City FC initiatives that support both Diversity and Inclusion. 

We follow the recommendations of Canada Soccer and their initiatives towards Accessibility and Inclusion. 

We pledge at Kelowna City FC, that players will never be excluded or discriminated against based on any factors, inclusive of:

• Physical Ability
• Gender
• Ethnicity
• Religion
• Sexual Orientation
• Financial Need
